It is now been a year since New Moon's Family was published by Beaver's Pond Press! I was hoping to upload this on Oct 1st, but circumstances unfortunately prevented it. But that's okay, we can count it on the month. ;) To celebrate, I've posted my own video reading of the story on Facebook; you can view it here. Accompanying it is the beautiful piano piece, "They've Always Been Near," composed and performed by my wonderful cousin, Paul Gutmann. Here is the original unedited version on SoundCloud for your listening pleasure.

Thank you all for an exciting first year as a traditionally published author, and I hope you enjoy the story time!

Fool's Dish in Many Waters!

This has been a VERY long time coming, COVID-19 notwithstanding.

I’m excited to announce that the St. Croix Writers, whose group I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of for over a year now, have at last released their first anthology, Many Waters! In it are the poems, short stories, and novel excerpts of WI writers from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. It even includes a humorous little 2010 piece from me called Fool’s Dish (which just might be its own children’s book someday . . .😉)

Many Waters is now available here on Amazon Kindle; we plan to release a paperback version soon! Enjoy!

Hey everyone! Big announcement!

This week, from Monday, May 13th through Saturday, May 18th, KTWH 99.5 will begin its second annual Spring FUNd drive!

For those who don’t already know, KTWH is a non-profit radio station, run largely on financial support from listeners. You may become a sustaining member, or you may contribute just once, as often as you like, as much or as little as you like. All donations are tax-deductible, and we have a wide variety of premium bonuses!

And that’s not all!

On Friday, May 17th from 2:00-3:00 pm Central time, both my fellow producer, Tom Koehler, host of Story Time, and I will be in the studio for a special live broadcast! In between telling you all about the drive and the benefits of your support, we will broadcast two episodes of The Tale Collector, first my latest, then a past one in its entirety chosen by myself (shh, it’s a surprise!), and then Tom will select some of his hilarious Politically Correct Bedtime Stories for your forward-thinking entertainment as well!

AND as an added bonus, from 5:00-6:00 pm, Briand Morrison and Roxanne Bergland, the artists behind the theme of The Tale Collector, will be special guests performing live on an extended broadcast of The Beat Farm, hosted by Leslie Black and Carl Zoretich!

If you’d like more information on donating or what we offer, check out the FUNd Drive page here or our Facebook page. We’d love to hear from you! Your contributions are what keep not only my program but the programs of many other passionate producers and artists going.

Thank you all for your support, and I hope you all enjoy the show!
